Last Saturday around 6.50am CuanTec was interviewed by Mark Stephen from out of doors. If you missed it, no worries follow the link and listen from the 23rd minute.

What a week it has been, not only at CuanTec HQ, but at our new facility within the European Centre for Marine Biotechnology, at Dunstaffnage near Oban.  This idyllic location hosts a vast array of marine related research, and innovative, commercial biotechnology. We look forward to meeting our new neighbours, and developing CuanTec within this inspirational and energetic community of marine scientist.

So once our boxes are in and we’ve unpacked, we can go full steam ahead with the development of our langoustine derived packaging.

Not a bad view from our new office. The quaint village of Dunbeg.

Tracy White

We are happy to announce that today we are welcoming two new faces to our team, Dr Tracy White and Sarah Connelly

Tracy will take on the role of Head of Microbiology and be the first recruit to the new CuanTec facility at the European Marine Science Park at Dunstaffange outside of Oban.

Sarah comes to CuanTec after working with us during her industrial placement for her Masters with the IBioIC and will continue her working to optimisation of fermentation processes.
